Mushroomtime !!!

So I’m gonna start my mushroom season now, my awesome dad found a spot in the woods where he goes hunting, that has like a million edible boletus mushrooms and chanterelle! Good for me :), so he brought back a couple of kg and tonight i made the most delicious breaded mushrooms :)!

Boletus Mushrooms (obviously :P)
Eggs, amount depending on how many mushrooms you have
Bread Crumbs

To clean the mushrooms don’t make them wet, cause they wont taste good anymore if you do, so you just have to wipe off the dirt that is on it and maybe cut it off if the wiping is not enough, then cut the mushrooms in about 1-2cm thick slices.
The head of this mushroom was almost bigger than my hand!

1. Flour.

2. Eggs.

3. Bread Crumbs. You can either salt the bread crumbs, flour or the mushrooms directly :), I prefer to salt the bread crumbs!

Put about 1cm of oil in a pan and fry for about 6-8 minutes.

Doesn’t look so pretty, but tastes really good !

Serve with something light, like salad (something has to be healthy in this dish 😉 ). I usually like to squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the mushroom and eat it with cranberry jam :). Most people eat it with  sauce tartare, but thats up to you 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this recipe!
