Keto Cheese Knots

Florence Stoiber

Today I will show you the recipe for keto cheese knots! Hearty and filling, even for people who are not on a ketogenic or low carb diet. The nice taste of Grana Padano and crispiness Prosciutto di San Daniele that I was sent make the whole thing even better. You can use these keto cheese knots as an alternative to garlic bread or some othe carby sides for Christmas!  They are awesome with soups, salads, wine and everything you enjoy!

Keto Cheese Knots

Ingredients for the Keto Cheese Knots:

125g Mozzarella (shredded)
50g Grana Padano (grated)
50g melted Butter
1 egg
75g almond flour
2 teaspoons creme de tartar
1 teaspoon provençal herbs
5 pieces prosciutto di San Daniele
some Grana Padano to sprinkle
salt
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Mix almond flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. In a pan carefully melt the mozzarella and add the grated Grana Padano. Remove from the heat and add egg, melted butter, herbs and almond flour mixture and mix until the mass forms into dough. The consistency of the dough will tend to be super oily but that is ok. Cut the dough into 10 equal pieces. Cut the Prosciutto San Daniele in half cut in half  attach to dough pieces. Form a string and carefully tie to a knot. Then put on a baking tray laid out with baking paper and sprinkle with some Grana Padano. Bake for about 20 minutes. Eat while still warm.

Hi, if I were to have a small bowl of rice per week, but for 2 days a week I will fast either 18/6or 23/1. And 2 out of the six days I will have about 10 carbs. Will it be OK??

    Thank you.

Hi! If your goal is to stay in ketosis, a bowl of rice might kick you out of it but that is totally up to every individual person. To get a legit answer its best to talk to a dietician ☺️ I hope you’re gonna have a good experience with this! I did for sure!
