My first homemade chicken wings inspired by a Korean recipe! I think they were fantastic, well for me and my friends they were. I love watching friends eat the food I cooked, get all messy and enjoying it at the same time (except for Simon, Simon likes his fingers clean).

Ingredients:
about 1kg Chicken Wings
1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger
salt,pepper
potato starch
for the sauce :
1 small chopped onion
1 small clove of garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
4-6 tablespoons rice wine
4-6 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon of red chili paste
3 tablespoons of honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1-2 teaspoons sesame oil
vegetable oil for frying
Sesame for garnish
Cut the chicken wings into two pieces and season with ginger, salt and pepper. Set aside for about half an hour. Meanwhile, brown the onions and garlic and add all ingredients for the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Add potato flour to the wings so they are covered evenly then fry until golden brown. Warm up the sauce again and add the fried wings, toss around until evenly covered. Garnish with sesame and serve!
