Roast Chicken stuffed with an Apple


Ingredients:
1 Chicken
1 small apple
2 carrots
1 yellow carrot
1/4 leek
some parsley
300g champignons
1 chopped red onion
2 teaspoon red hot paprika powder
 Sea Salt
Butter
Stuff chicken with the whole apple. Then rub with lots of salt and paprika powder. Preheat oven to about 235˚C. 


I actually forgot to cut off the butt ^^ I suggest you cut it off 😉 

Tie legs together with a string.
Cut all the veggies, not too small. Then brown onions with butter and add the other veggies.


Put chicken in the oven on a grid at mid level. Place roasting pan with the veggies underneath it. Add  around half a cup water to the veggies. Now roast for about 30 minutes at high heat, then turn down to 180˚C.If veggies look dry add some more water. Also if you wanna get more sauce ;). After 1 1/2 hours turn the chicken around and roast for one more hour. 



For a first timer this chicken turned out super tender and crispy on the outside :)A good nice dinner for you and your family 🙂
